Bowls Coaching & Help - Brian Binding  [Level 3 Coach]

The more I practice.....the luckier I get [Gary Player - master golfer 1977]  ......

Bowls as with all sports follows the maxim that 'what you put in' relates to 'what you get out' of the game in terms of enjoyment and improving ones ability.

Often seen as a relaxed and an easy game to play, it certainly has its own exercise challenge and one will 'feel it' after an afternoon of pairs or triples - bowling some 84 or 54 woods up and down the green!

Coaching at Camberley has been a real success story over the past few years with an influx of new members ably managed by Brian Binding and his team. Several new members have already won club honours and external competitions and all have enjoyed the insight and good humour that Brian brings to the coaching experience.

Enjoyment at the bar afterwards is just part & parcel of the spirit and camaraderie of the club.

Thursday evening 6pm is generally the starting point for new members, when rinks are made available for new bowlers to try out the game, with all equipment readily supplied. Following on from this time, arrangements can be made to suit individuals regarding further instruction.

Several new members have joined and are ready to take up the bowls challenge, with Brian looking forward to delivering his coaching program for season 2006. Any questions or to register for the coming outdoor coaching classes email to; brianbinding@camberleybowlingclub.co.uk
