Spring / Summer of 2007

We have had another successful season again this year.

Eddie Vine reached the badge round of the Surrey Singles competition which was played at Farnham.  Unfortunately Eddie lost a hard fought match to Andy Gladwell of Cranleigh.

Gary Clark and Trevor Prentice reached the badged round of the Surrey Pairs.  Unfortunately they lost the match by one shot.

Arnie Lewis, Terry Friday and James Shillingford reached the last 16 of the Surrey County Triples competition (round before the Badge round).

Gary Clark, Arnie Lewis, Terry Friday and James Shillingford reached the Quarter Finals of the Surrey County Fours competition (the Badge round).

The Club have reached the last 32 of the EBA Top Club after an exciting match against Egham which was won following an extra end in the fours match.  They are now due to play Cheam on 11 July.  The club made it to the last 64 of EBA Two Fours competition, but were  knocked out by a team from the Egham Bowing Club.  Again we have proved we are capable of a very good run in these national competitions.
