It happens at Camberley Bowling Club !

Most aspects of club life has a 'family feel' to it, friendly, welcoming and somewhere to get just what you need when you want it.

Pop in for a beer or glass of our finest red wine (Eddies South Africa excursions are having a positive effect on his wine choice[s] ) and chat with friends at the bar or greenside whilst a good bowls game is going on.

Thursday nights are becoming legendary under the continued good management of Vic Fordham and his team who keeps the roll-up well organised, fun and dispenses the winning cash prizes at the end. No wonder he's a popular chap.....and the winnings invariably end up over the bar so it's easy to see why its a win win night.

A word or more on Vic. Camberley's very own crooner extraordinaire! A talent for singing Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond songs, Vic always has us calling for more. More on Vic's singa-longa times coming up soon!

Talking of talent a little bird has told me that we have an exotic dancer amongst us and it beholds me to see if performances can be arranged!? What this space for an ''Entertainments Nite Special''.

New girls Sandra & Sue are coming along well and played their first Thursday night roll-up recently, good to see another new intake of members enjoying life at Camberley.

Sandra left, a new member and taking part in
the Thursday 'roll-up'
taking tips from Ed Reilly,
one of the club's instructors.

...and Sue under the helpful and  watchful eye of Barbara Norman.

....incidentally, another little bird tells me she has unravelled the Scottish tongue, is speaking fluent John McKinnon and is kept ''in fits" at the bar [her words] by the Clan of John McKinnon and Alistair McNichol.
