Camberley Open Triples - Sept 5th 2004

No better way to finish the outdoor bowls season than to enter our Open Triples tournament!

On yet another glorious day 24 teams competed for the 
now 'Kingsclear' Camberley Shield.
Sue Allen, manager of Kingsclear Residential & Care Homes, 
event sponsors is seen presenting to this years winners, 
a home side victory by the 'Camberlions of Sarfrica' led by 
Eddie Vine[middle], Gary Clark [left] and Trevor Prentice[right].

A fine win 13 - 8 against Old Dean in a close and competitive final.

Winners in 2003 .......

A very pleased trio from Knaphill - John Pullen, Terry Dockley and Mark Dunne receive a cheque for £375.00, from Rita Tilbury-Vine, Camberley Captain.

A keenly fought final saw the ''Knappers'' win 11 - 7  against the ''Young Tonghams''.

We are pleased to see the Knappers entry for this year....so a keen defense of their title is in prospect no doubt.

We extend a warm welcome to all who have entered for the 2004 Event, on Sept 5th.
